Magna Private Policy

Magna Education Center and its affiliates (collectively known as "NHLC") are absolutely committed to protecting your online privacy. To provide you with the best possible service, NHLC from time to time will ask for personal information. This policy is to make you aware as to what type of information is gathered and tracked, what the information is for, and with whom the information is shared.

Attention: www.magna.edu.hk is the main home page to NHLC, which has the general private policy for www.magna.edu.hk. To create easy entry to our private policy, this policy illustrates possible customer information throughout the www.magna.edu.hk Web site. It is possible that not all personal information outlined in this policy will be used, but we want you to understand all our procedures.

Information Gathered and How it is Used

There are areas in which you can browse on the NHLC Web site without giving us personal information. However, there are certain elective areas of the NHLC's Web site where, prior to entry, you will be asked for personal information such as your name and address, email and/or phone number in order to, provide service and support, present a more personalized experience as you navigate the site, process your orders, or supply you with requested information. We monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to improve the design.

We may need to share some of the information we receive from you with our affiliates, partners or certain other third parties in order to supply you with services you request. If you submit in writing that you do not want us to use your information to contact you, in a timely manner we will remove your information from our contact lists.

In order to engage in transactions, communications, provide support and future service, NHLC may ask for the following information: user's first and last name, email address, mailing address, phone number and center location preference. The information collected may be used to send our class updates, marketing messages, delivery of services, or answer specific questions.

All information requested from you for billing and accounting purposes is stored within our accounting database as an encrypted entry. Only a handful of accounting individuals will be able to un-encrypt this information, and only for the purposes of billing. Due to security reasons, we do not save this information in a cookie on your browser, so you will need to input this information each time that you purchase training with us.

With Whom Magna Education Center Share Information

Unless NHLC has your permission or is required by law, NHLC will not sell, rent, lease or otherwise provide your personal information to others, except in order to provide you with the products and services you request.

Please remember that when you submit information to a discussion group or some other public forum, the information submitted will be deemed public information and will not be considered confidential.

Cookies and Other Technologies

NHLC may collect anonymous information from your communication connection itself, which consists of network routing, equipment information like browser type, date, and time. Our system will also search your computer to see if there are "cookies" previously set by NHLC. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user.

The data we collect from "Cookie" technology on our site contains no personal information and is used in the aggregate to improve our services, product offerings and Web site content.

We also use cookies to keep track of your personalization options so that we can deliver to you content specific to your interests each time that you visit us.
