Certificate in Investment and Financial Planning

This program is designed for the one who would like:

To pursue a foundation qualification in finance studies in order to enable them to progress on to higher business and finance programs; or
To obtain a professional qualifications in order to enhance their employment prospects in the financial services industry.

The program contents provide students with a comprehensive overview of various sectors in the financial services industry. The functions and activities of different sectors are also covered.

Admission Requirement
The program is generally open to the public. However, applicants are expected to have a F.5 or equivalent education level.

Medium of Instruction
Cantonese, supplemented with Chinese / English course materials.

Mode of Delivery
Face-to-face classroom teaching, seminars and / or workshop.

Assessment Methods and Course Completion Requirements
There will be an end-of-course examination. To successfully complete the course, students are required to pass the examination (scoring 50% or above) and have an attendence of at least 70%.

Certificate in investment and Financial Planning

Professional Recognition
Some exemptions may be granted for the following:
1) Certified Financial Consultant (CFC);
2) Registered Financial Planner (RFP).

1. 財務策劃概況 (Overview of Financial Planning);
2. 財務分析 (Financial Analysis);
3. 保險計劃 (Insurance Planning);
4. 退休計劃 (Retirement Plan);
5. 遺產安排 (Estate Planning);
6. 稅務安排 (Tax Planning).
